Traffic counts/ survey

TCM has conducted comprehensive traffic counting services, employing state-of-the-art Automated Traffic Counters (ATCs) and Turning Movement Counts (TMCs). ATCs provide detailed long-term data on traffic volume and speed, while TMCs capture precise turning movements at intersections. Our data collection methods, often utilizing automated technology, ensure accuracy and reliability. This data serves as a crucial input for Traffic Impact Assessments (TIAs) and Traffic Impact Studies (TISs), enabling clients to optimize infrastructure, signal timing, and safety.

Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA)

Traffic Impact Assessments (TIAs) are crucial for evaluating the potential traffic effects of proposed developments, especially temporary diversions. TCM's project portfolio demonstrates our proficiency in delivering detailed TIA studies. Our methodology encompasses:

  • Comprehensive data collection of existing traffic flow and volume.
  • Analysis of proposed diversion impacts using advanced traffic modeling software (Sidra, Syncro, Visum).
